Research Fellow Position at Enamine Germany
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a research fellowship at IORSY/Enamine, supported by the European Union. This position, referred to as DC8 Fellow, will focus on the innovative project "Design and Producing of Building Blocks for the Synthesis of Macrocycles Using Non-Amidic Disconnections."
Project Overview:
The project aims to design and synthesize building blocks for macrocycles, leveraging non-amide-based disconnections such as the Grubbs reaction. It seeks to develop efficient and cost-effective methods for these processes and generate a comprehensive database of building blocks.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Design and synthesize building blocks in amounts suitable for combinatorial chemistry.
-
Develop methodologies to assess the scope and limitations of these building blocks.
-
Contribute to the production of 100-200 compounds for combinatorial libraries.
-
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience in synthetic organic chemistry, particularly in the synthesis of polyfunctional small molecules, and familiarity with various orthogonal protection/deprotection techniques.
Application Process:
Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes and cover letters to careers@enamine.de.
